Let's talk about the Steelers

And how we are going to destroy them.

I forgot about buttkicker.

The replacement cost us 4 points. It should have been 40-10.

I fully expect the Chiefs to roll the Steelers; I won't be surprised if it ends up being too close for comfort. The run defense concerns me, the offensive line concerns me, the fact that this is Ben's ride into the sunset concerns mem, Sorensen concerns me.

Probably something I ate... I just don't feel comfortable about this game because the Chiefs are favored by so much.

The only ones who think this will be a competitive game are Steeler fans and media people who need something to talk about. KC didn't beat Pittsburgh early in the year where things could have changed. They routed Pittsburgh three weeks ago.

No one on here should feel this way. I admit, it took me a year or 2, but after year 4 now? 1 or 2 seed, playoff wins, MVP conversation every single year. And now I'm going to think of how one of the worst playoff teams in history will beat us?

Hell no.

This is simply a terrible matchup for Steelers, a team who shouldn'teven be in the playoffsto begin with. They are going to get killed more than likely.

Only way it's close is if Chiefs turn the ball over a ton.

The O-line? The O-line is a strength for this team. Only question could be RT but Wylie has been decent.

I'm old... I remember all of the unbelievable losses (and victories) of the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00 and 10s.

I have absolute faith in Mahomes, he doesn't play defense. The defense is my concern.

If the Chiefs pass rush shows up, they kill every team in the AFC.

If it doesn't, they have a 50/50 shot of winning the game just due to Mahomes.

Weren't they without Bolton, Sneed and Ward three weeks ago and shut them down anyway?

Edit - Nevermind. It was just Bolton.

Still....

100%. Completely depends on if Clark shows up to play or not.

As others have mentioned, the defense has been GREAT at home, borderline dominant. They clearly feed off the energy in the stadium and the crowd, and there will be no shortage of that for a Sunday night Prime Time playoff game.

Frankly, based on the Chiefs season, I would be more concerned about the offense (they have actually been better on the road) than the defense. That said, there's no reason to worry with this one. Defense is shutting them down. Offense will do enough, even if they don't blow them out.

Media is just trying the hype their narrative and the Steelers for ratings and viewership, nothing more. Don't get sucked in. Chiefs are winning this game, easily. I had thought about why they were putting THIS game on Sunday night (out of all the games they could have chosen). I think it's simple. People wanna see the Chiefs in Prime Time, Steelers have a strong national following (lots of viewers) and this will be Big Ben's last game. So the time slot is like a going away gift to Steelers fans who have followed Rape's likely HOF career. But make no mistake, he's going out like Dan Marino.

I'm thinking something like 31-13. Comfortable win with no real drama.

Just a fun easy going Sunday night for all. Relax.

I'm just Eeyore today... I fully expect the Chiefs to put Ben into the retirement home where he belongs.

I'm always nervous before games, playoff games get my mind going off in the strangest directions. Maybe that bacon I cooked last night had been in the fridge a couple days too long and that's why my stomach if churning.

A friend of mine, who is a Dolphins fan, is pining for Ben in Miami to replace Tua. He's nutz...

I don't get nervous anymore with Mahomes. He is the most unstoppable force in football when he is on. And he is always on in the postseason.
