I mix my Sailor Jerry's with Dr. Pepper occasionally. I like it.

Already exists. The Philips Head Screwdriver is a generous dollop of vodka mixed with carbonated orange-flavored soda. Which does not sound delicious to me, personally.

Old-fashioned. Using Jim Beam because I'm cheap.

I had one of those last night. I used Crown Black for the booze. Also used Mr & Mrs T's Old Fashioned mix. It's not too bad if you're very lazy about making your own mix, as I am. I noticed on the label it says you can use scotch rather whiskey/bourbon. Strange, I would never think of making an OF out of scotch. Don't think it would taste right at all...

Many of the 'old skool' whiskey cocktails have a variation using Scotch. For a while during/after prohibition good aged bourbon/rye were hard to find, but scotch was plentiful. Add a shot, pour in some bitters and vermouth, maybe a sugar cube, call it good...whether or not it was.

Well I made it to work on time. Not much of a hangover even, just a shitty disposition. Had a major piece of equipment break down. A shitty day was had by all. Hmmm. Gives me a reason to drink some more tonight and I am off tomorrow. Off I go...

Tried it. It was just a louder and stronger cup of shut the fuck up than I'm used to. With some threats of cutting me off the snatch for a month or two. I don't suggest telling your woman to "get back in the kitchen'. Her cooking sucks anyway.
