Best Rock Bands of This Decade

Who do you all think are the top rock bands of the 2000's?? I would prefer if we listed bands that became popular in the year 2000 or later.

For me, it's the White Stripes, I love their music and they are amazing if you ask me especially since it's just 2 people.

So I ask you, what is your top band this decade? Feel free to post a video of your favorite song from them. It certainly doesnt have to be mainstream.

But I'll poll a few bands of this decade

What a terrible poll. No System of a Down, Korn, Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age, Destrophy, Foo Fighters, Godsmack, yet you include fucking Nickelback? Seriously?

The Mars Volta /thread over

Seriously, I'm more of a hip hop head that has played instruments for a good portion of my life and TMV blew me away when I heard them for the first time. They are awesome. I saw them when the came through Dallas-Fort Worth in '08 and they played a solid 3 hour set non-stop. That show was loud as **** but sounded great so I wouldn't move from the speaker. I worked in a call center at that time and called in sick the next day bc my ears were screwed. The next day I got the "quit or be fired" talk so I quit and the show was still worth it after that.

Um, all of those "bands" were signed in the 90's.

Laugh at me, here's your chance. Not so much for what they play on the radio, but I like Hoobastank.

The Killers are pretty good, for what they play on the radio. Does Theory of a Dead Man count? They're ok, so is Shinedown. I also like Alter Bridge.

I suck, pretty much all the stuff I really like comes from the 90's.

oh, I remember foo fighters in the 90's and they aren't exactly what I consider to be "rock" anyways, like I said I'm stuck in the 90's and need some advice on how to rock this decade

I know Tool has been around since the early 90's, but their best work, IMO, is Lateralus and 10,000 Days.

But, the best band to span the last couple of decades is Radiohead. They are the alpha and the omega. I'm actually pretty partial to Kid A and Amnesiac, although OK Computer is an absolute masterpiece.
Kid A might be my favorite single album of all time. I love it.
