Hey now, mamma didn't raise no dummy. I haven't had poor personal experiences with cops because I give them every oz. of respect they deserve on the rare occasion that I'm forced to correspond with them.

Honestly, I've just watched too many youtube videos. You're going to find abusive assholes in every profession. Police officers are just the most concerning to me.

I do seriously think this guy should be praised for his handling of this though. This shouldn't be a negative news story at all.

I'm normally quite critical of cops, but this guy was in his right to do this IMO... It probably would have been best to ignore something like jaywalking, but the girls escalated the situation in this one, not the cop.

That's what makes it hilarious. It was just Jaywalking. All the cop is going to do is give you a freaking ticket....that they never would've paid any goddamn way.

Instead the bitch has to get ballsy and try to walk away, then resist arrest and her reerun friend decides it's a good idea to assist in her resist (like that rhyme?) and in turn gets a straight jab to the nose.

If there was a pedestrian overpass, it's probably a pretty busy road.

I've seen cops ding folks for jaywalking if you're talking about a major thoroughfare and I really don't have a problem with it. That's a danger to motorists as much as pedestrians.

Yeah, it was kind of weak. But, he didn't really get much behind it, he didn't have the distance.

Seems to me the cop was justified.

But honest to God, jaywalking? That's what started all this? I (and alot of other people) "jaywalk" directly in front of a Boston Police Patrol Supervisor vehicle every day.

A friend of mine was driving to work one morning when she approached a red stoplight. By the time she got to the light, the light had already turned green. The SUV on the left was just about to get moving....and she couldn't see anything to the left because of the line of stopped cars...she continued on through the green light. Apparently, someone was crossing the street even though the light was green.

As she passed, the person walked right into her car, smashed their head against the driver side mirror, ripped the mirror clean off and the guy laid out cold in the middle of the road.

Some of these people who jay walk or try to beat the Red Hand aren't very bright.

We get a lot of that shit out here. People walking through the roads like they own the bitch, as if they were in Tijuana or something.

When Jaywalkers cross like that and decide to take their sweet ass time, i make it a point to speed up and barely miss 'em.

I kind of disagree with the majority here...

It's ****ing jaywalking...why is jaywalking even illegal? That's like giving someone a speeding ticket for going 57 in a 55...

That cop obviously has some anger issues...

Even though OBVIOUSLY it's not bright to do what the 17 year old girl did...but damn...that just looked ridiculous.
