Took over the worst team in college football history, and made them relevant. Then comes back to rebuild them again after they fall. Takes a team this year that is picked 6th in the Big 12 to a 10-0 start, and they'll probably still go to a BCS game. The team choked tonight because they are better than Baylor, but c'mon. If he was coaching at Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Michigan etc the guy would have won some titles. Put it in perspective. It's hard to say where he ranks in coaching history because of where he coaches.

Sounds like Marty.

If he had only been the coach of the 49ers in the 80's instead of Cleveland.

Or Dallas in the 90's. Or the Patriots last decade.

Face it: Bill Snyder, right or wrong, took advantage of the system. He scheduled powder puffs for years on end and won just enough games against shit teams to qualify for bowls.

Meanwhile, his tactics never succeeded and he failed year after year after year to bring in four and five star recruiting classes. Instead, he always had to rely on the dumbass transfer students and even dumber JuCo guys.

Now, I'm not saying he doesn't deserve respect for making a truly awful program better, but the guy has never won jackshit consistently, nor has he made Kansas State a "destination" school for football players.

Is this KSU loss one of the biggest chokes in college football history? I just heard that no BCS #1 has ever lost to a team with a losing record and KSU didn't just lose tonight, they were embarrassed by Baylor. They were also just two games away against inferior teams to them from playing for a NC.

Really, I think it has to be right up there.

Not even the biggest choke this year. USC's entire season has been one big long massive chokejob of historic proportions. Hard to believe the Trojans were ranked #1 in preseason.

I agree 100%.

I cannot envision a scenario in which the Kiffin's aren't fired at the end of the season. USC has tons of money and I don't know of anyone that's happy about this season.

If they are gonna let a ****ing idiot like BlackBob make mults and not ban them, they need to let you stay.

At least you bring something to this place.

I bet you threw up in your mouth the second Manning announced he was signing with Denver, huh?

It was the worst moment of my life...

Well not really.

But I put $100 on Manning signing with the Chiefs at 5:1 and at that time he was 25:1 with Denver. I was convinced he would see our talent and would HAVE to sign with us...but he knew what we didn't know (Pioli was insane)...

Now, now...I'll be honest. I hate myself, but I'll be honest.

I LOVE WATCHING DENVER PLAY.

Peyton Manning is a ****ing football GOD. He's unbelievable. Best QB I'll ever see, I guarantee it. And I hate it. I hate Denver. I have childhood nightmares involving Elway...

but I'll never be able to quit Peyton Manning...he is the ultimate QB. He really is...

and the fact Denver snagged him away out of nowhere is just further proof that God hates me and whatever...

but the Chiefs are just so atrocious I don't even care...Peyton is my QB on my biggest $$$ FFL team so I don't even feel dirty anymore cheering for Denver...and in fact, if I had to guess who was going to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl...maybe I'm just a Peyton homer...but I'm guessing...Denver.

Peyton is just too good...and their defense gets better every week.

It's weird. I hated Peyton for a long time, then just kind of fell in love with the guy. When he first signed with Denver, I hated him again. But now that the Chiefs are sooooo bad, I just don't give a **** and like watching the guy play. Honestly, I don't want them winning the Super Bowl, but I want to see our division rivals win. It hurts their draft slotting.
