Seems like KC and Cincy are destined for decisive wins and another Arrowhead invitational.

Or he's there to make sure the "Win it for Hamlin" tour continues on and they get the neutral site.

We'll know for sure as soon as the game is over which one it was, no matter how many flags were thrown or how many bad calls there actually were for one side or the other.

The fact that Cheffers and Clitoris Blakeman are rewarded with playoff assignments shows how bad NFL officiating is.

Shawn Hochuli: Referee Penalty Trends & Betting Stats

In his 63-game career, Shawn Hochuli is a notoriously smart bet when betting on the Under.

35-26-2 to UNDER (57%) for his career
11-6 UNDER record (65%) in the 2021 NFL season
17-6-1 UNDER (74%) in divisional match-ups for his career
5-2 UNDER (73%) in divisional match-ups in 2021
Some might argue that Hochuli likes to be the center of attention at times, as was evident when Hochuli officiated the 2021 Thanksgiving debacle (Raiders vs Cowboys) with a combined 28 penalties for 276 yards.

Hochuli oversaw the controversial 2021 Week 15 Seahawks vs Rams with the “no pass interference” call that effectively doomed Seattle in a 20-10 loss.
Hochuli called 3rd most penalties (13.12) per game in 2021 for 118 yards per game.
Hochuli called the most defensive pass interference calls in 2021, a stat that is skewed by the Dallas vs Las Vegas game where he called that infringement 5 times.

Cheffers reffing that Cincy/Buffalo game just proves he's the league's hitman. I had zero doubt it would be him.

No way the Bengals are coming out of that game with a win.

Wow, Cheffers of all people is reffing that game. Only a fool would dismiss the influence refs have in the outcome of games. This is all scripted by the league. They wanna keep it as tight as an ant's butthole.

The league probably wants a a chiefs/bills afc championship game in Atlanta. That should be beneficial to the us in the way our game is called.

It’s not our game I’m worried about, it’s the Bills and Bengals.

I think there’s literally zero chance Cincy is coming out of that game with a win, no matter how much they deserve it. Hope I’m wrong, because I’d love a second shot at those assholes in Arrowhead for another AFC Title.

The 2020/2021 postseason had 3 of these 4 refs also. Only Blakeman is the difference.

From 2020/2021 postseason

Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs (-10)
Sunday, 3:05 p.m. ET, CBS

Head referee: Shawn Hochuli
Favorites: 15-13-1 (53.6%, +1.34 units)
Home Teams: 12-16-1 (42.9%, -4.40 units)
Overs: 12-16-1 (42.9%, -4.35 units)
Texans: 1-0 ATS
Chiefs: 1-2 ATS
Chiefs-Texans is a rematch from Week 6, a game Houston won, 31-24. KC fans will probably remember this game for a pass interference call that was reversed.

With the Chiefs leading, 17-9, and Kansas City with possession at the Houston 32, Patrick Mahomes threw an interception in the end zone. But the pick was going to be wiped off the board as Texans defensive back Lonnie Johnson Jr. was called for pass interference after essentially tackling Travis Kelce to the ground.

Just before Kansas City lined up with the ball and a fresh set of the downs the officials huddled, and overturned the call, citing an uncatchable ball. The controversy stemmed from the decision but also the fact that no replay had been authorized.

Houston would score to make the game 17-16. Had the pass interference call stood Kansas City could have potentially scored to make it 24-9.

Why is this important? The official in that game was Shawn Hochuli, the same referee that will be calling Sunday’s Divisional Round game. Superstitious Chiefs fans can’t be pleased with the referee assignment.

If the Bills or Brady don't win the Suoer Bowl, I'm going to troll the shit out of all you ****ers who think it's all rigged... all of your names will be changed to penis jokes, I'll boot people from threads for no reason, take all of your casino cash, write a script that changes all of your posts to "I don't actually ****ing know anything".

It'll be fun for a few days.

You saw how the first round of games was called with officials most of us never heard of. Flags were at a minimum and teams were allowed to play very physical football on both sides of the ball. I have zero complaints about anything I saw this past weekend. It’s how the league should be reffed every single week, and they proved it’s not that hard to do if they want to.

So there’s no reason we should be talking about any game altering penalties for this weeks games with Blakeman and Cheffers out there. Just call it down the middle. That’s all anyone is asking. No phantom holding calls when Mixon busts a 30 yard run, no weak PIs when a Bengals corner breathes on one of Allen’s receivers. Didn’t see any of it last round, so it shouldn’t be an issue next week if they’re all reffing by the same standards.

Easy peasy.
