NFL is Rigged: Week 18 edition
The CP consensus is that the NFL is rigged. Welp, as such, I think it’d be great to discuss this week’s script.

The NFL is rigged, so this should be easy. As easy as predicting a WWE In-Ring interview being rudely interrupted by a rival with a steel chair.

Call your shot, what kind of week 18 shenanigans is the NFL up to?

Las Vegas vs L.A: Which new stadium does the NFL prefer? TWO teams in L.A make the playoffs?

Will the NFL write in a tie game sending BOTH to the playoffs?

Will they sneak the Steelers in for one last hoorah for Ruthlessraper?

Or will they write in Lamar Jackson because he generates ratings?

Will they give the most prestigious player (Mahomes) the #1 seed, or do they want to see the Chiefs in the WC round for extra ratings?

Sorry, but $5K is the limit on any one bet.

I'd still like to know how the NFL rigged that Colts game. It wasn't close enough for the refs to influence, so it had to be one or more of the players or coaches involved. I guess I'm supposed to ask my mom, but I don't think she'll know.

Yeah, the funny thing is simply saying the NFL didn't have to rig that game would give someone a tiny bit of credibility, as opposed to "predicting" the Steelers might make the playoffs if the Colts lose and then saying you were "right" and it's obviously rigged.

$5k on the Chiefs hosting a game next week if they win Sunday night *chuckles*

Keep ignoring that I said to keep an eye on the Raiders/Chargers game...three weeks before it happened. Raiders were tanking...on a 1-5 skid. Not one person here was thinking that far in advance..

I said there was no way the NFL would allow Vegas to lose in week 17 vs. the Colts...and they won on a last second FG...then they won, again, on a last second FG this Sunday with the help of Clete. I said if I worked for NFL corporate...Raiders would be my choice vs. LA.

I've never used a playoff calculator....that's not based on who owns which franchise or which teams NFL Inc prefers in the post-season.

You obviously didn't catch my cynicism in saying I didn't think the string pullers would be that brazen...it's why I mentioned the 6 point differential in the first meeting...then followed it with the Steelers...who won in OT...like the Raiders. Why didnt I mention the Ravens instead...they were at home? Why did I call it an "ace card"...why mention it at all? There was no way Indy, fighting for a play-off birth....could lose to the 2 win Jags without a HC...right?

Do you not find both the Rams/Cardinals losing at home...umm...interesting? Just poor timing, I guess.

Do you not find the Bengals resting Burrow with playoff seeding in play...interesting? What if the Chiefs lose on SNF...that move costs them a 2nd home game. Even Rodgers played some snaps...
