What Needs Fixed

Curious for everyone else's thoughts here. We know we have 11-12 picks, and limited in cap space.

Needs IMO: WR (like 3 or 4), OT, OG, Derrick Johnson, another interior guy to give Poe a break, maybe some secondary depth.

Where the hell do we go in the draft? If I had to guess we will pick around 18th. Not a great spot but certainly can get a WR... but we need lineman just as bad...

big offseason coming. Fingers crossed that we somehow sneak in and win a playoff game. All I'm asking for.

I get that. I don't think that's the case. Again, Alex has actually been effective in the red zone when his back is against the wall and he's down a couple of scores. He is a different qb when he's down a score. He almost seems to tense up. Perfect example is yesterday. 4th down, last pass of the game. Take a shot downfield. What is there to lose? Even if a guy is covered it's better than running out of bounds. He's got to approach the last drive of the game with the same aggression he seems to approach a 4th quarter drive down byb2 scores.

Given that the Chiefs just married Alex, they would be best served by fortifying the defense and the running game.

That about covers it.

QB and CB really only need depth. The other three need multiple new starters...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yeah, I'm not sold on Reid and Alex Smith. But it's worthless to have these conversations without assuming these are our guys the next 3 years.
