Mahomes scrambling as long as he did as often as he did without finding anyone open is an anomaly. Have to wonder if the refs swallowed their whistles just let people hold and hold.
The 1st 3 plays of the second half were full of holding and early contact..they stopped showing it after that.

That play at the end of the first seemed to take the confidence out of Mahomes and the offense

He’s a lot like Brett Favre at times. Gets overly confident.

I don't fault the play call in the first half. That's on Mahomes, but the play call to pass at the end of regulation on second down, THAT's the questionable play call.

In shock, whole offense in second half just inexplicable.

I don’t remember what that call was. Remind me?

Yep, ****ing up at the end of the first half and then the two drops to start the second somehow broke him.

I don’t know how he plays maybe his greatest game from start to finish against a good D and then a week later shits the bed in the second half against a mediocre D. He didn’t need to be Superman, just be efficient and methodical.

So bizarre, so frustrating.

Yes. Giving away at least a 50% chance for a SB victory. Tough to swallow.

Mahomes didn't get any of the blame (rightly) for the SB loss last year, but he will for this loss, that's for sure. Did he quit taking what the D was giving him and wanted the big play? I don't know.

Mahomes is much more mentally fragile than I initially believed.

You saw it in the regular season when he lost his confidence and he lost it today after failing to score to end the half.

He needs to spend his offseason doing some soul searching.

I love the guy. But what an absolutely epic bed wetting.

You've been saying this same dumbass **** since you were calling for Matt Moore to start over Mahomes in 2019.

Find a new line.
