Off-season WR possibilities

Seeing a lot of teams with sub .500 records with WRs that need to get with Mahomes.

Who is available and who would you like to see us pursue to go with Rice and Watson.

You can probably replace MVS with Hardman for nothing. He has no value in FA.

I’m on on Brown up till 15m and the deal would need to be structured similarly to how Watkins was. I’d still turn around and draft a WR in the first 2 rounds.

Rice
Brown
Draft pick
Hardman or James
Toney
Watson

Skyy gets shipped out to anyone wanting to swap 7th rounders in 2030.

The WR room is cooking next year if we can make that happen.

Brown or Ridley might be a pretty sweet compliment to Rice. I'm with you that we need a WR in the first 2 rounds, regardless.

I've also gotten keenly interested in Michael Pittman Jr. I've watched him this year, and the dude is a beast with a string of turd QBs throwing to him.

I'd be shocked if the Colts let him out the building there.

My biggest issue with this group is just whats the price gonna be on them. Can I have Brown here at say 15 million a year or is gonna be 20?

Evans and Pittman are the only two I have any interest in considering what the others would cost, but Pittman isn't going to make it to FA.

Michael Pittman isn't going to FA, the Colts have money and he just had a breakout year.

Eh I don’t know…I think for that to work it’d have to be a 1st rounder that immediately works out and contributes….I’m not the biggest Hollywood Brown fan so he doesn’t exactly fill me with excitement.

One habit we gotta break off is relying on our buddies for scouting.

Toney/james - Kafka
Jawaan - pederson
Rashee - buechele... a little of mahomes (of course... This was a great one)
CEH - mahomes
Gabbert - Henne
Mecole/Blake bell - retreads

Maybe that makes us open to ridley, or maybe it gets us too hung up on Mooney. But as of late it's mostly not worked for us.

Don't get me wrong, hollywood would be a great pick. But we absolutely need to nail our draft pick otherwise it feels like same offense as this year with better parts. Whereas someone like ridley... Arguably we could be fine with mecole as our speed option, although I'd rather we upgrade him

Tired of little WRs. Give me Evans as our #1 and Rice as our #2 for next year.

Evans is a short term solution but wont cost draft picks and is exactly what we need atm.

Are you saying you think Ridley is better?

I’m not sure I see that. He’s been healthier this year and has more yards, but he hasn’t exactly lot things on fire in Jacksonville. He’s been good, but he hasn’t been the dynamo I think many expected him to be.

Personally I would rate Ridley's value higher but they are probably close and they do different things.

Ridley also isn't going anywhere, the Jags will keep his as they use him as their #1.

I’m not sure they do. They have some cap issues and he hasn’t taken their offense to a new level. It looked basically the same as before to me.
