Low float IPO plays have been hot recently. While GCT isn't super low, it's still got a float of only 39.5M, so let's call it low-ish float. Grabbed 1000 in pre-market at $25.65 risking VWAP, which at the time was around $23.80.
Market sold 500 after the second volatility halt at $34.81. Market sold another 100 into the third volatility halt at $38.28. Market sold another 100 at $41 after the third halt. Mkt sold another 100 at 34.50 after the fourth halt. Just mkt sold another 100 at $30.41 before this most recent halt down. Sitting on the last 100 with a stop loss on $23.80. Realized P&L around $7500 including a $1200 loss on 10k shares of MOBQ that I bought at $1.70 in premarket and got stopped out at $1.58 on. |

Locked the last 100 at $30.17. Also took a couple stabs at VLCN (17M float) but it kept getting stuffed every time it tried to make new highs. Finished up around $50 on it.
$7,991 realized. Time to hit the driving range before the monsoons get pumping. |

My my my. Left some meat on the table on GCT. Can't cry over making a month's salary in an hour, but still....
![]() ![]() You'll soon realize why my trader friends have dubbed me "The Prince of Piking". I'm really good at entries and cutting losses. My exits on winning trades still need a lot of work. |

Grittani is the GOAT, turned $2500 into over $12M now. Jack Kellogg started in our program the same time as I did in early 2017 and is now over $10M, Roland closing in on $2M, and Huddie is over a million. These profits are all verified on profit.ly, which syncs to your brokerage and uploads trades directly. Some of these guys haven't uploaded new videos in a while, but the lessons still 100% apply. The best trading book I've ever read was Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by Edwin Lefèvre, and that was written 100 years ago but the lessons still apply like it was written yesterday. YouTube: -StocksToTrade - BEST ONE TO START WITH IMO. THEY UPLOAD TRAINING VIDEOS DAILY -Tim Grittani -Jack Kellogg -Roland Wolf -Mike Huddie -TWIST (This Week in Steady Trade - specifically episodes 179 & 187 with JJ Guerilla the ex-Market Maker) TWIST is a part of StocksToTrade -Moon Market - not in our group, but a really good trader who puts up tons of content on YouTube. -Michael Dimarco aka Mikey Underdog from Goblin Gang on Discord - same as above, not in our group, but a good trader who has started uploading YouTube vids. Twitter: -Grittani - @kroyrunner89 -Kellogg - @Jackaroo_Trades -Ellis Hobbs (played CB for Iowa St. and the NE Patriots) - @ArtofWarEH3 -Mike Hudson - @MikeHuddie -JJ Guerilla - @vwaptrader1 (not officially in our group, but fascinating listening to an ex-Market Maker's insight) Good Discord groups: Goblin Gang, Atlas Trading |

Hey Johnny, from what I understand the free float is 2.5 Million and the rest of those shares are locked up for 90 days

Trend lines are your friend. Purple line is VWAP. Volume Weighted Average Price. Constantly updated line that tells you the average price people are in at. Simple explanation - Price is below VWAP, sellers are in control. Price above VWAP, buyers are in control. VWAP is the indicator I use the most.
