People are ****ing tards man, we got people saying Cutler sucks, people saying Cassel is better people being pissed their team actually made a move for a young franchise type QB...

Like I said the other day, average NFL fan is dumb.

Stop parading around like you are the benchmark for NFL fan intelligence.

The problem you have is that you think people are actually comparing Cassel to Cutler's talent. It's a no-brainer. Cutler in a landslide.

Just because people don't want Jay Cutler as the QB of this team, doesn't mean they are saying Cassel has more talent.

I really don't know what we have in Cassel yet. Neither do you, but you would think with the way you carry on that the guy has failed already.

If they get anything out of Chris Williams at LT next year, that is one of the top 3 teams in the NFC.

They just got a franchise QB, a commodity that they haven't had since Sid ****ing Luckman, and he's pretty much a local (Santa Claus, IN), and he's on a very reasonable contract.

Yeah, and their defense is top notch.

Remember folks, this is a team that's just a few years removed from a Super Bowl. If they had a QB THEN, they'd have a recent Super Bowl trophy

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Remember, Taint just retired on them, so they'll have OL issues.

You should probably stop looking at things in the glass of "OMG he played for Denver he sucks and I hate him"

Chris Williams was the most highly regarded pass blocking LT in the entire draft last year. He didn't get to play last year b/c of neck surgery in the PS. He's so much more talented than Tait it's not funny. Kreutz is a perennial PB center, they just signed Kevin Shaffer to hold down the right side, Garza is a good guard, Matt Forte is already a great running back, Hester is your deep threat, and Greg Olsen is a very talented TE.

That team is a #1 WR away from being absolutely lethal.

Word I've heard is that Chicago is hot and heavy over Orlando Pace, and will move Williams to RT if they sign him.

They damn well better sign somebody.

Personally, I think I'll start a pool for who gets the career-ending shot on Cutler next season. My money's on Jared Allen.

ESPN's Michael Smith reports the Bears have agreed to terms with OT Orlando Pace.

A busy day at Bears headquarters, as they now have added protection for their new franchise quarterback. Pace is slated to start at left tackle, with Chris Williams moving to right tackle and Kevin Shaffer now a swingman.

Not unless they get some WRs for Cutler to throw to. I'd say they're more a serious contender to win the NFC North right now (which isn't saying all that much)...
