It's not too many weapons. Any team can run the alignments and have as many options as the Donks. It's all about the QB finding them and Dallas not having good enough defenders to stop them.

Dallas can POTENTIALLY score enough points to keep pace, but I doubt it.

Someone said earlier that Manning is due for a shitty game, well Dallas is typically due for a "where the **** has THAT been all season?" game before they go back to shitting their pants and missing the playoffs.

It's not money in the bank for the Donks, but odds are Donks by 20.

This is what I said in another thread and I think it's more relevant here.

I don't think rushing the passer will work with him. Jeff Saturday said this morning that the best way to stop PM is to do what NE did back in the day. Drop guys in coverage, be vanilla, bend but don't break. That's what Romeo did with him last year as well. Jeff Saturday said that PM will pick almost all blitzes.

I agree with him.

You don't think Denver's wr/te corps is elite?

Didn't say they weren't. But it's not the NUMBER of weapons, it's the QBs capacity to utilize them.

The Faid could line up just as many options, but Pryor can't utilize them all at once.

We're arguing semantics, but it still bugs the crap out of me when people say "too many weapons." The Donks don't line up more backs and receivers than any other team that spreads it out, they just have a QB that can hit the open one.

What's exciting is that we likely won't need to blitz too often to generate more pressure on Manning than he is accustomed to.

IF you can do that, that's your key.

It's not like they're making a bunch of spectacular catches. Manning is just insanely good at reading defenses and finding the open man. Without him, it's an above average, but not necessarily elite, group.

How the hell did we draw the Broncos 2 times in 3 weeks? They usually spread it out better than that.

After what Indy did on the road, they arent such a bad pick and of course the Pats have a shot.

My dark horse is the Ravens, go ahead and laugh, but if their defense plays lights out and the offense has a solid day, its certainly possible.

They already had a shot..

Unless you're hoping for a repeat of last season's playoffs.
