Fisher says hello but a little more timidly. Ford didn't start his first year but he has definitely been a starter. Mahomes is definitely a starter. He was drafted for the future.

A weak armed QB in one of the windiest and coldest places to play in the NFL eight times a year does not sound like a match. Quote:
If you think Spencer Ware is expendable, especially after the Chiefs had to trot out CJ Spiller, Akeem Hunt and an oft-injured Charcandrick West in 2017, either you didn't watch the games or your football IQ is 0.0. Maybe both. |

Fisher is an average LT. I liked him better than Joeckel who has been a major bust. That 1st round was pretty bad overall. There were a few studs but a lot of duds. Ford was a mistake. Big bust. Nothing but injuries and bad play. He flashed a few games in his NFL career and that's about it. Mahomes looks pretty special but this pick has Reid all over it. Not trying to discredit Dorsey here but the Chiefs aren't going to trade up to pick a QB without everyone on board and they probably studied him more than they did the other 3 first round picks combined. |

Hell, we'd be reeruned-full of riches in the backfield if Ware comes back at full readiness...

I disagree about the doesn't matter what we get for him part. A high second gives the team the ability to draft an impact player for the defense that is sorely needed. We may hit on a later round player like we did on Hill and Kelce. But I would rather the higher pick. The chances of getting a good player are just too much better. Unless of course you're John ElFraud. Then good luck hitting anywhere in the draft.

And I'm sure any team sitting in the shit pile would be happy to wipe their asses with Smith's "talent", and get on up to..."respectability". Ugh...

AJ Feely-2nd
Donovan McNabb-2nd Kevin Kolb-2nd Alex Smith had a better year than all those guys in their final years with Andy. We should be able to get a 2nd for Alex.

You trade away Smith you are looking at paying $5-10 million for a decent backup. So you save how much money in the end??
Don't be surprised if they restructure him and offload his cap hit into 2019. |

NOT A CHANCE IN HELL. Too much to gain from a trade. They'll pay some backup $3-4M per year at most, and take the $15M or so in cap space to go along with the pick(s). |
