Law & Surtain: The Best CB Tandem in the League?

(Since it's all but "official". http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/15106482.htm )

Law & Surtain: The Best CB Tandem in the League?

That would have definitely been true 2-3 years ago.

Is it still true?

I don't know. If they are both healthy, and have "gas left in the tank" then I think they could be...

Even if they are healthy, and ready to play though, I'm not sure they will live up to their billing, UNLESS Sims and the DTs pick it up with more pressure from the inside. AND they get help from our safeties.

Otherwise they could become the two most overpaid "older" CBs in the league.

Here's hoping that Sims and Wesley (along with Edwards, Junior, and Pollard--not to mention Hali) can make a difference.

I like how the Broncos ranked 29th in pass defense yet I'm suppose to buy that their secondary is good........

So you admit that he's injury prone.

Connie Chung has always had my respect. You would do well to listen to her.

What does Connie Chung have to do with this? She's just a talking head.

I don't see how you can sit there with a straight face and type that Int's are waaaaay overrated. What it means is that the individual stopped 10 offensive possessions by the opposing team. I put it right up there with recovered fumbles. It's certainly a game changing stat.

It might not tell you anything...but THAT tells me something. Mostly it tells me you're an idiot. You said yourself that Bailey covers the teams best reciever...so unless he spends all day on Gonzalez...he covers Eddie. Just like he was a moment before the pic was taken.

You DO realize the Bronco "secondary" finished 29th out of 32 teams last year, don't you?

I mean, to be fair....opponents were often playing from behind, and had to throw the ball...BUT, still, to give up more yards than all but 3 other clubs....is nothing to be proud of, I'd say.
