All kidding aside, #3 pick?
I keep reading that this year's draft is lean on QB's, DE, and others.
Does this mean that there is there is fat at the other positions?
Hall of Fame type fat?
We are due to draft our next hall of famer.
Who is this draft class' future hall of famer? and can we get him with the 3rd pick?

typically, I'm used to seeing the Chiefs stuck in 'no-mans land' (picks 22-32 etc); now we have #3 and for some reason I suspect we're stuck in no-mans land again.

I'm not sold on Stafford (haven't seen enough; plan to check out combine video for a more educated opinion) at the moment.

And all th is 'trade down' talk...well, there needs to be a team willing to trade up. I'm not sure who that would be etc.

If someone is willing to move up, fine.

We need to draft the Best Player Available regardless of position. We may never see the #3 pick ever again and drafting that high you need to get the best possible players you can get regardless of what position they play.

Assuming the schedule plays as difficult as it looks...

This team could improve greatly, a ****ing ton, and still win only 5 games next season.

And this wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing...

Teams are so up and down every year that I don't think the tough schedule argument is very relevent. Teams you may think will be tough may suck and the "weaker" teams may be good. Who knows.
