Thanks for telling me early in the day.

Now I have time to run to the store and pick up some Ambien, so I can get some sleep tonight.

Stevieray good post

I'll put it this way guys we can't use what or how the chiefs have drafted in the past. Tendencies are thrown out this is a new regime. We don't know how we are gonna draft.

Sanchez? I for one am not sold on him but if you think he is a franchise qb you take him

Crabtree? He better be the next great WR if you are gonna take him that high

Curry? I don't know much but one again that high better be a cross of DT and LT

Maualuga? I know I misspelled it again if he is the second coming of ray lewis to high if not.
Stafford? Is he Elway two or Jeff George two for me a little too inconssistent but was that the receivers fault

OT? Who knows a RT this high

Trade down? This is a patriots manuver but is it a pioli and Haley one who knows

We don't know what they are gonna do so right now there are no dumb picks

There is a dumb pick though. The dumb pick would be grabbing an OT at #3 and moving Albert into play LG. You just wasted two picks and $75 million dollars.

And look.....trading down is fine for people who want to dream but I get tired of hearing the let's trade down argument that involves some reeruned team trading up for no reason and giving us a whole bunch of picks.

Exactly.

Most of this could be avoided if people would only think before they post.

I agree most trade scenarios I've posted are doable. I didn't say all I said most eagles do seen like a possibility. If crabtree wows them at workouts eagles may be desperate enough to trade up for him. We would have to get both firsts, but then again rams probably take him at two so who knows. It's gonna be hard to find a partner to trade with but if that is the route we decide to take I have trust pioli can do it.

Ok so let me say this then

Certain chiefs fans don't want to give thigpen time to grow, but then you say you want to draft a franchise qb. But if you won't give the time to develop thigpen how do you expect to have the patience to develop sanchez or stafford?

If as OTW you need facts I can get them. I know there is a chance he could be the one a million guy that comes in and dominates. But let me tell you although rothesberger, flaco, and Ryan weren't dominant they had good teams. How do you know thigpen with a better d and o line couldn't do great as well.

Now I'm not saying pulling a croyle and giving him the starter position but add some competition and see what he could do. But at least give him a chance before calling him a bust.

The reason that people have reservations about Thigpen is because how horrendously he played in the Atlanta game in a Pro Set.

You can not win in this league if you are limited to the spread because your QB can't adapt to a pro style offense.

Now it isn't out of the realm of possibility that a spread QB can adjust, however the only guys to do so far are Brees and Roesthlisberger.

Sanchez and Stafford have been playing in the pro set, so they are already ahead of the curve.

It could be argued that those that feel they are the begining and end of intelligent conversation are the stupid posters. How arrogant is that?

There are all types of people here. Every single one of them have the right to post. Whether it be a young person who knows little about football. Or someone who has an ultimate knowledge of football. If you cant get along with all levels then you need to find a place where you belong. Unleashing your lack of patients and inability to translate what's going on around you is a liability to this forum. I understand that after 20,000 posts that many here forget they are in a public forum. But the fact remains you are. You should try to remember that and remember that everyone has the right to voice thier opinion or participate in conversation and perhaps even learn something from that participation. Without being attacked or jumped on because they dont share the same opinion as the self proclaimed geniuses.

For the record, this was a well thought out post.

What you fail to understand is that this is the place where we belong because we have the freedom to bash.

If you are offended by the insults, then this is not the place for you.
