You're the guy who hates his former favorite band the instant they get recognized, aren't you?

Yeah, Patton Oswalt is a cocksucking prettyboy. Elvis Costello skated on his Britney Spears sexiness. Artie Lang has a bestseller because he pumps out pablum for the masses.

Enjoy what you enjoy for what it is, and forget all the useless resentments.

I think that's Taco John, it's definitely not me.

Hell, the only band I would call myself a through and through fan of is The Cure.

Dane Cook wouldn't be successful if he was a 45 year old man with a receding hairline...

His audience is women who think he's hot and dumbass frat guys.

I don't like him because he just seems to tell stories. It's like listening to some drunk at a party recount his escapades. I just don't care. You need to listen to a five minute story just to get one joke out of it. I prefer guys that actually make jokes.

That's how Carlin did comedy aswell, he just talked about more relevant things.

I've laughed at some of Dane Cooks jokes I won't lie.

I don't think Carlin did it to the extent Cook does it though. Cook has some funny bits, like the wet bathroom/anti semetic graffiti bit. That's pretty good. The Burger King drive-thru bit with the lady mumbling about pickles is ok. But other ones, like the one where he talks about waiting in line at a store and then some guy cuts in front of him- it goes on and on, and there's really no joke there. He's just talking.
I remember Jerry Seinfeld said, about Howard Stern, something like "It's like sitting around a party all night just to wait for a line." (a line of coke I assume he meant) Dane Cook is kind of like that. It seems like you have to wait through a bunch of crap to get to anything good, and you wonder if it was worth it.

Ive never really watched her standup, but after watching this roast I may be a new Lisa Lampanelli fan. That bitch was ****ing hilarious and is the first white person Ive ever seen with enough balls to joke about black people. It always annoyed me that black comedians got a pass for making fun of whites while white comedians didnt have the nerve to throw it back because they didnt want to be labeled racist. That shit she said about Warren Sapp being so hot if she owned him she would even let him come into her house almost had me on the floor.
