Small things in life that gravel your ass

What are some things in life that are really not that big of a deal in the big picture, but just piss you off?

My example of the day:

The dogs were barking at something today out in the alley, so I went outside to find out what the hell was going on. Some Slippery Larry contractor was back there unloading a bunch of shit into my city garbage container.

Me: Hey there strokestick, are you my new neighbor or something?

Slippery Larry: No

Me: Yeah, I knew that, then why are you dumping your crap out into my garbage container? I have plans to clean out the garage and am going to need the space.

Slippery Larry: I don't know.

Me: Do you live in a house, do YOU have a garbage container?

Slippery Larry: Yes, but it's full, so I'm dumping it in here.

Me: No, no you're not, try the city dump. Don't let me ever catch you back here pulling the bullshit again, or we are going to have a big problem.

At that point, he high tailed it out of there.

Like I said, it wasn't like the guy was back there trying to break into my shop, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

Yes and if someone attempts to grab the door before doing diligence, then i clear my throat loudly while turning on the water and reaching for the soap as obviously as i can.

Interesting...I thought I was odd with some of my peeves. Im still odd, but at least I share some similar peeves...where do I start?

Driving: People who actively block you while driving...if you attempt to pass, they make it their mission to block you. It's so bad around here I refuse to use my signals because if you do, typically the person in that lane behind you will speed up to block your progress. I used to think Missouri had the worse drivers, they're pansies compared to Virginia.

Coffee: Coffee was made to be drank straight. I cannot stand people (especially men) who think they drink coffee, but for all intents and purposes make hot chocolate or chocolate milk. Dont call what you're doing coffee... Also, audibly horribly loud sips by people. If it's too hot that you have to suck in 5 seconds of air with 3 drips, it's too effing hot. Just wait. Of course, this doesnt happen with hot chocolate drinkers because after 10oz of cream and 8 sugars, it's pretty much chocolate milk.

I also have this peeve about loud gulps...it's worse when commercials for beer or soda do the sound of someone opening a can and taking 3-4 large slugs. To me that's nails on a chalkboard...nails on a chalkboard do not bother me one bit, so my kryptonite must be loud gulping swallows.

Whew...that felt better.

Of course my last peeve is BB Genious (chiefsplanet spelling)...that goes without saying.

Heh. I have a lot of passive aggressive tendencies, especially online. I try to avoid it but I come by it honestly. My mother is the queen.

Whiskey was made to be drunk straight too but I rarely do because it taste less like a donkey ass when mixed.

And I know what chocolate milk tastes like. Coffee with cream and sugar tastes nothing like chocolate milk... but to each their own.
