Some people have way too much time on their hands- and this is the condensed version of someone's thesis that's apparently 15 chapters in length.
Theory overview is BvS is a continuation of Nolan's Trilogy. Affleck isn't Batman- he's Deathstroke JGL's John Blake is the Robin who becomes Joker - played by Leto, now as the character has aged. 1st two Letters and last two letters of his name = Jo ke Also mention of the trailer music song, " I started a joke, which started the whole world crying " along with the messed up Robin suit in which you can see holes in the costume at the exact same spots where Leto has scars on his body in the stills of him released Jeremy Irons isn't playing Alfred, he's William Randolph Wintergreen. Obviously, they go into it a lot more, and with additional information. The belief being that Nolan oversaw Man of Steel and is overseeing BvS, he obviously has a hand in the all the movie's storylines, and will have input in the storyline for Justice League 1 & 2 . Even if it totally isn't completely plausible and unlikely, the theory and explanation are definitely entertaining. I didn't read it, but just from Anyong's overview it has the feel of some near genius level intellect on one serious acid trip trying to explain strange theorems that only make sense to him.

It's really dumb and Nolan's Batman was pretty shit anyways, the fanboys are just trying really hard to hold onto it

But that said... that is exactly what happened in Superman II. I'm not sure what you're trying to argue here. Remember he looks around and sees all the destruction the fight is causing, turns and flies away from the fight and Zod (and the people watching) all say he's a coward. |

It still wouldn't have been what you saw in Man of Steel, but the original intention of Richard Donner was to do a serious take on that fight. It's a shame because I think if he had gotten his way it still would be considered one of the great superhero films ever. |

Need I go on? Yes, I understand that all the pseudo fanboys really love these movies and I'm sure you could probably count them as decent to even GOOD movies, but they aren't good BATMAN movies. At no point in any of those movies is there a moment where you go, "holy shit, THAT'S the ****ing Batman I know I love." Listen to the Kevin Smith podcast when they go over this and then the one about Man of Steel (Kev actually defends both movies), they dissect them pretty well and rightfully shit on them, spot on most of the times.
