Come now..in this game, defense kept the team in the game in the first half giving offense plenty of opportunities to score at least once.
Had they scored once in 1st half Chiefs would have won.
Both offense and defense played well half of the game.

You assume that the 2nd half would have played out exactly the same if Chiefs score some points in the first. Can't really predict that.
That is why plays towards the end of the game have so much more importance because a team can d!ck around for three quarters and just turn it on late. Mahomes gave us two opportunities to win when it mattered most, the D just methodically gave away the game.
Why is Brady going out of his way to gush about Mahomes and even said it after the game? He knows how dangerous Mahomes is when it really counts.

People excusing this play and then deflecting are dead wrong. This isn't even a question of basic fundamentals and techniques, nor is it a questionable/sketchy call about jumping offsides either.

This is seriously as simple as setting yourself on the correct side of the ****ing football prior to ANY motion or a snap. It's inexcusable, and it cost the Chiefs a regulation time victory.

Dude, NOBODY is excusing him, he clearly screwed up on a play at the end of the game that has lasting consequences. With that said, plays missed earlier in the game also has consequences that alter the game.

Can't blame one without blaming the others, they all add up to a loss. You all win as a team, you all lose as a team.

It's just so much easier for those who want to bitch and whine about losing to label it as 1 play, the " What if " mantra.
