Why is this even up for debate?

The Cowboys would be one of the worst teams in football without Romo.

Without Alex, well...the 49ers are just fine.

You could say this about most teams in the NFL with a half competent starting QB. Take Brees out and the Saints suck, Brady out and the Patriots are a sub .500 ball club. Very few teams are like the 49ers where they are going to be half-way decent no matter who is throwing the rock due to the 49ers being a very 'complete' team.

Take Peyton from the Broncos and that is a 3 win team there.

Its a given that Tony Romo is a better qb than Alex Smith.

What is missed here is that even with Kaepernick, who is a much better qb than Alex Smith, the 49ers are still going to run the ball, MORE than they pass this year.

And at the end of the year, I will post the number of rushes, and passes. Jim Harbaugh ran 58 percent of the time in college. That's with Andrew Luck.

That's who he is. That's the strength of the 49ers.....

Romo and Smith are very similar in my opinion. They are both serviceable, but neither is championship caliber. Dallas won't win a championship with Romo, and the Chiefs I don't think will with Smith. Whatever else happens is just stats.

The 49ers are trash without Alex Smith if they didn't happen to draft an awesome quarterback in Kaepernick. And look if Alex Smith gets injured in the future and Bray comes in and leads us to a Superbowl I'm all in on trading him away just like the 49ers did.

In the meantime, you've got to admit it's getting better.

It's getting better all the time.

I prefer to be optimistic again for once because I prefer that to being a Ravens fan, bitching and moaning and finding faults in your team all the while winning. They are miserable again already and I'd rather bring back the optimism in Arrowhead because that's who we really are as a fanbase.

Mostly because we don't have to live in freaking Baltimore but whatever.

Like I said...you throw 48 passes...you're probably gonna have close to 300 yards.

So now you're spinning. Last month you got on Alex's ass because he had less 300 yard passing games than Tim Tebow.

Yes, that's poor.

But, like most poor quarterbacks, he can hit the 300-yard mark by attempting 48 passes. That's only 6.25 YPA.

Fun fact: In Alex's amazing playoff game, he had 299 yards on 42 attempts.

He needs a LOT of attempts to rack up decent yardage.

I realize you're basing it on history but there is no ****ing way they lose to Jacksonville, unless Dwayne Bowe, Jamaal Charles and the defense sit out the game.

Jacksonville is worse than when they came into the league.
