Hello CP.

Obviously rooting for Cincy to win this week. Allen is a beast, but can be a turnover machine. He's gonna have to continue that trend hopefully from a Bengals perspective. The Bengals defense are normally very good at somewhat containing rushing QBs, but their best defender at this Hubbard is still out with a calf injury. It's going to be a difficult task especially without him.

Bengals have not been good in regular season primetime. They got blown out by freaking Cleveland on their last Monday night game and lost to Ravens on Sunday night. Bengals are tough in the playoffs,, but not in reg season primetime to this point. We'll see.

Also, if Bills win out and lock up the #1 seed, they will be hosting the AFCC Game at "Ford Field, Detroit". I'm calling it now. Weather in Buffalo this winter is just a tragedy. J/k. Kind-of.

Playoff seeding still isn't set with #5thru#7. Ravens are not guaranteed the #5 slot. They have a couple tough games left for them and are only 1 game ahead of the Chargers. If Balt drops both those games (Steelers, @Cincy), then they will seed below LAC and possibly even drop to #7 if Miami can win their last two.

If Ravens win the AFCN (puke), then Cincy should likely clinch the #5 and play at Jags/Titans. Obviously not rooting for that as a Bengals fan, but if they have to be a WC, then going to Jax I'll take it.

Welcome. Great analysis. Not sure Miami makes it into the playoffs. They are not very good without Tua (and frankly not as good against good teams with Tua). I don’t believe the early season Bengal are the same team that we see now. Hoping that works in our favor and they beat Buffalo. Regardless of all AFC teams, the one I want to see the least in the playoffs is Cincinnati. Need them to knock off Buffalo and then lose to anyone in the playoffs.

I'm with you on Miami, but hoping they make it. If they don't, I believe that will still give Pittsburgh strong life to get in as the #7. Seeing both the Ravens and Steelers make it into the playoffs is just nauseating for me as a Bengals fan.

Bengals are playing much better now late in the year although some injuries are becoming concerning. I believe the Bengals can play with and beat anybody (Bills this week), but also can expect them to be flat and choke one away as well. If they are "on" this week, I could see them defeating the Bills. They have to be "on" though.

I hear you with teams you'd rather not see in the playoffs. NFL is predicated greatly on matchups,, and the matchup I don't like for Cincy seeing in the playoffs is the Ravens. Division for with a tough defense that always brings it against Cincy. I'd rather avoid them if at all possible.

Division matchups in the playoffs suck. Never know how those games may go and you already have seen that matchup more times than you can count. Ravens would get bounced bad by Chiefs/Bills but I guarantee they'd give Cincy a real worry.

Division matchups are the worst which is why you will find very few on here eager to face the Chargers in the playoffs despite beating them twice in the regular season. I would still rather face them than the Bengals, not because I feel they are better or more talented or even better coached than KC. They currently matchup poorly against the Chiefs and I would have to think that being 0-3 in two years takes a mental toll as well.
