David Glass is the worst owner in sports.

That's by Jeff Passan. He used to cover the Royals for the Star, but now he's moved up national to work for Yahoo Sports....

Pretty good article and I can't disagree with most of it. This part, however, bothered me:

I'd say he's up there, along with the Clippers owner, Browns, Cardinals, Saints.

The Yankees buy their championships and expect everybody to keep up. MLB needs a salary cap. Don't the big market teams understand that they are only big market because they live in a place with MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people to draw from? It has everything to do with geography and little to do with ownership. Put Steinbrenner in Kansas City and let's see how much he would be willing to spend. Oh and shut the **** up, Reggie Jackson.

I still find it hard to believe that all of these owners (Steinbrenner included) are losing money each year.
If they were, they all would be selling their franchises. Look....these owners are rich enough that it's not an ego trip "maybe this will impress the girls" motive for owning a MLB franchise. They're business men....and business men dont like to lose money. Now...That's why I have so much love for Mr. K...he was not only a business man, but a fan, and even more important, a competitor....and he hated to lose, especially to the yankees. And therein lies the problem with Glass........

Very accurate article in my opinion. It sucks that Glass made money last year putting up those kind of losses.
