I've got 27 of the top 49, and I feel like I'm moderately well-traveled. I would've thought I had more. I can add another 8 where I went on day trips or airport passthroughs, but didn't spend the night.

15 not counting airport layovers or just driving through.
Have plans to add another 2-5 this year.

16 of 49. If you remove the spend a night requirement, it's 30 of 49.

14 (should be 15, but I neglected to check Orlando). I've also driven through 11 others without stopping, and once had a flight connection in Birmingham.

Have stayed overnight in 23 - and have been in 29 - not bad for a Dakotan.

It's interesting to me that Philadelphia is faring so poorly. It's the biggest city that I haven't hit, and I figured I was an anomaly. Apparently not.

I've been to all but 9. If you want an overnight stay, that numbers drops a lot. subtract 11 that I did not stay overnight in. So 29 with overnight stay, 40 total.

It's not quite Providence, but I'd really like to go to Newport, RI, and check it out.
