2024 Draft Most Underrated
We'll see how this ages... I'm looking at the rankings right now though and see a few guys that just kind of pop that I think will be better than their draft slot if it sticks.
Here's my "short list" at the moment, interested in your additions and comments: QB Michael Pratt, Tulane WR Ricky Pearsall, Florida WR Will Sheppard, Vanderbilt WR Hayden Hatten, Idaho RB Rasheen Ali, Marshall RB Jaylen Wright, Tennessee RB Audric Estime, Notre Dame TE Benjamin Yurosek, Stanford TE Dallin Holker, Colorado State (BYU transfer) OT Kiran Amegadjie, Yale OT Zion Nelson, Miami OG Sataoa Laumea, Utah OG/C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest NT Dontay Corleone, Cincinnati DT DeWayne Carter, Duke DT Gabe Hall, Baylor DT Rylie Mills, Notre Dame DT Nathan Pickering, Mississippi State ER Jasheen Davis, Wake Forest ER Cedric Johnson, Ole Miss LB Aaron Casey, Indiana LB Payton Wilson, NC State LB Jaylan Ford, Texas DB Beau Brade, Maryland DB Billy Bowman Jr., Oklahoma CB Jaylin Simpson, Auburn CB Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo CB Aydan White, North Carolina State |

I've also noticed that there are guys with stats and athletics metrics who seem undervalued in this draft. Lots of variation currently between boards on different sites. Feels like these guys always get discovered and climb around draft time though.

Pearsall is a Day 3 WR right now, and if he stays that way I'd love to see KC dip in there.
He's pretty explosive after the catch. Good open field guy. The Florida situation has been a mess and may have suppressed his numbers some.

The guy I'm most surprised by currently is RB Jaylen Wright, TEN.
Dude runs a 4.31 40 and puts up 7.4 yrds per carry but is projected to be a 7th rounder or UDFA? Not like he's some tiny gadget guy either, he's 210 lbs at 5'11 which is pretty stout. Is TEN offense really that different from NFL football? |

I only saw Purdue play one game this year, and that was against the Huskers. They had a LB, Kydran Jenkins, who just wrecked havoc on the Huskers. I'm kind of interested to see if his game translates to the NFL.
And a WR who flies under the radar for me is Stoops for Oklahoma. I saw several OU games. He kind of reminds me of Renfrow from Clemson/Raiders. Just a guy who makes plays in clutch situations. |

WR Trey Harris out of Ole Miss is another guy I can't understand why he isn't listed higher in the rankings.

Worthy is worthy of discussion though, but he might be a bit overrated. Last edited by kccrow; 12-16-2023 at 04:11 AM.. |

I don't know that he's underrated, but man do I like RB Will Shipley out of Clemson a whole bunch. If the Chiefs were to go that route on day 2 he's the one guy I'd champion at that position. Just don't see it happening though, nor do I necessarily think it's wise unless a whole lotta chips fall right in the offseason.

He's a good receiver and could handle McKinnon things while giving them a little more explosiveness.
