I think it's clear that they aren't gonna spend a dime until they get guys like Alex Smith and Justin Houston locked up.

I agree, but I think people are putting Dorsey under a microscope.

How about Hudson, Allen and Stephenson? Two top 50 picks and a 3rd rd pick with 2 or more years in. It's time for these guys to step up.
Fisher and Kush are going through their first real nfl offseason so I expect them to be better next year as well just like Poe.

After watching Asamoah the last couple of years, do you any faith that Allen or Hudson are going to make a huge leap? I think it's a better bet to assume that Pioli had no idea what he was doing when it came to offensive linemen...

This isn't fair to Pioli or Dorsey.

Dorsey didn't draft these guys and pioli's picks were meant for a completely different scheme.

The success of Schwartz really should be an indication that we shouldn't go after a high priced guard or draft one in the 1st. If an undrafted career backup can do what he did, I'd be surprised if Dorsey and Reid really invest a lot of resources to get another one. That's why I'm positive that they'll likely draft a WR in the 1st. It's the biggest need other than safety and getting a great is more important than getting a great safety.
