Pretty crazy. Aldon smith was #7 after his 19.5 sack season and Houston is a much more complete player. IMHO I think a reason he's so underrated is because he isn't as flashy as some of the other guys. Von has super human like athleticism, Aldon has super human like strength and burst. Houston is still a great athlete but not quite like those guys. Houston is the wladimir klitschko, or emmitt smith of pass rushers.

So wait, Demaryius Thomas and Peyton are certainly in the top 20, but what about Chris Harris? My guess is that he wouldn't be in the top 20 of a player-voted list, but I'd expect him to be in the top 100.

I can't see any of those guys making this list.

So are we guessing who the top 20 are? I'll throw out in no order:

Jamaal Charles
The Mummified Corpse of Peyton Manning
JJ Watt
Maybe Demarco Murray this year
Richard Sherman
Tom Brady unless he's disqualified
Aaron Rodgers
Calvin Johnson

Maybe
Overrated Lesean McCoy
The former Drew Brees?
Marshawn Lynch?
Luke Kuechly

Drew Brees and Lesean McCoy have already been ranked, if I'm not mistaken.

Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown, Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Jamaal Charles, Demarco Murray, Marshawn Lynch, Rob Gronkowski, JJ Watt, Richard Sherman and Darrelle Revis are the biggest names yet to be ranked.

Obviously there are a few not coming to mind for me at the moment..

I'm both embarrassed and proud to say that I'm losing touch with the NFL these days. Other than Watt, who's the consensus second-best d-lineman? And who are the consensus best o-lineman? I'm drawing a blank.

Consensus best offensive lineman would have to be Joe Thomas, I'd think. Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Trent Williams, Marshal Yanda are other big names but they've all already been mentioned.

Second best defensive lineman really depends on system and your opinion. Robert Quinn, Terrell Suggs, and Ndamukong Suh are probably the biggest names after Watt.

So there may not be a lineman other than Joe Thomas in this last 20? Or maybe Suggs, though I think of him more as an LB.

I don't know. But Joe Thomas getting ranked above Houston shows what a ****ing gimmick this thing is. I can't stand to think of who else is in that top 20. If Houston was in Dallas, he'd be ranked in the top 10.
