I would be surprised/shocked. Even in New York. Some shit you just don't mess with. I understand fans mentioning it as a passing thought when desperate, but actually doing it would be an all-time bad look for a fan base. Oakland Raider fans would be calling them classless.

Reading some of their stuff is fun. I love that one of the guys posted something about hoping that the St. Louis Blues suffer calamity of some sort. Have these morons ever pulled out a map?

Obviously, just as CP is not representative of Chiefs fans overall, that site is not generally representative of Mets fans overall.

However, that is a stunning array of ****s they have over there.

Really though, if you live in New York and are a sports fan, and you're constantly fed the east coast media bias in sports, and this is the first time you've seen the Royals or the first time you saw the Royals was last year's WS, of course you won't believe it. The Dodgers and the Cubs collectively only win 1 game against you. The media hype just spins harder. You've bought into it, that your pitchers are invincible and no one can stop your hitters from hitting the longball. No surprise that you're shocked when your team is down 3-1.

I don't know about that.

I had some friends that live in KC (one lives in SoCal) attend the game last, all of whom have said that the Mets fans were gigantic pricks. These aren't "badasses" but normal guys with wives and kids.

One of the guys said "Seriously. It's just a ball game. I hope people at the K don't act like that".

My interactions with Mets fans this past week has me believing they make Raiders fans look like Girl Scouts in comparison and I can't believe that ALL of them continue to defend ASSGAARD and his head hunting pitch at Esky.

Seriously, **** them.

Shots of the crowd had me wondering if I was watching a Mets game or a Trash Collectors local 47 town hall.

The way people talk to each other on CP would lead outsiders to believe we make raiders fans look like girl scouts too.

The difference is that I'm talking about real life, person to person communication, not an Internet forum.

People that I've known for years in LA have suddenly become obnoxious dickheads because of the Mets, which is something I never experienced when the Yankees were on their historic run.

This is so beautiful. Particularly the Bluejays forum. **** that team and its fans.

And I literally laughed out loud at the "**** EVERYTHING!" header on the Mets forum

There are also way too many homers for that site to be CP.

I'm not talking about the "It's a 7 game series, it's baseball, anything can happen, yadda yadda" type of posts. I'm talking about the numerous, "We're going to win 3 straight it's totally going to happen derp derp we're going to kick their asses derp herp derp!"

There are way too many of those assholes on that forum to be just like Chiefs Planet.
