Yeah, it is what it is.
Hopefully he works out for the Rams. He's a fun talent to watch. Wish it would have worked out here. |

Are we supposed to believe that the Chiefs actually called the Raiders or KC's other divisional foes and offered to trade them a top 3 CB??

Use some common sense. This is Chiefs PR spin. There is no way they called the Raiders and would risk playing against him the next 8 years.

I think it's kind of funny the collective freak out because of who else we have at CB that we played our best defense without Peters last year.
This whole thing makes me sad, but the guy was clearly done in KC. I hope he gets everything figured out and thrives in LA. He'll be kind of a reverse Jerome Bettis for them maybe. |

And yet had they waited till training camp and preseason some one would have been injured on another team or suspended or even some team would have convinced itself it was one player away and the Chiefs would have gotten much more for him. Instead mr. Marge schott wanted to run home to Texas and brag at his next klan rally that he got rid of " one of those guys". This team is a joke.

So the Chiefs sold low. Great idea. Hard to believe this franchise has 1 playoff win in the last 25 years and against a team that didn't belong in the playoff to begin with.
