Parker seemed caught in the middle a lot.

Again - hard game to figure out. It wasn't his usual game full of stand-out errors but I felt like he was often lost in space; not enough depth on his drop or driving too hard on underneath routes.

He looked like a hitter who's timing is all ****ed up; 'caught in the rocking chair' to use baseball parlance. Behind the fastball, ahead of the changeup - pretty much just off across the board.

He wasn't in complete meltdown mode like he's been at times this season, he just seemed to be fighting it all day.

Yeah. My point was more along the line of we know how bad Parker is in general. Lucas has show some flashes of good play here and there, but Sutton seems to give Parker and Murray much longer rope than he does Lucas. It takes too long for Sutton to give players a chance...he practically has to be forced to do it, and the excuse we always here is that his system is "too complicated" to learn. That is on the coach. He needs to change his scheme to utilize the best talent available, instead of the insanity of throwing players like Parker out there time and time again and expecting different results.

He’s far to slow to have mental hiccups. At that point, he’s done.

Yeah, the defense needed to make one more play. I agree with that.

But shit man, they held that offense to what, 37 points which is about their average. They had 5 sacks and created 2 turnovers, scoring once themselves.

You can't turn it over 5 times on the road.

The Chiefs had 5 turnovers and 130 yards worth of penalties and lost by 3 on the road. GTFO with the "Chiefs can't win in December" because of the defense. Clean up that and you win by 10 last night.

I am not going to hate on the defense I thought they played alot better than I expected. I had no hope they would slow down Gurley but they did. And at this point the defense is what it is, just got to hope the offense keeps rolling.

I did like that DoD played a ton last night and I thought he did a good job, much better than Ragland.

Parker sucks. No doubt about it.

They don't have a top notch outside CB either yet.

But I was encouraged by the front 7 last night.

Plus, the Rams offense is good. Like it's just as good as the Chiefs. You're not going to shut them out but the Chiefs D was enough of a speed bump last night to win.

Gurley had 55 rushing yards last night. They sacked Goff 5 times and created 2 turnovers.

I love Mahomes as much as anyone here, but he had a couple bad plays that cost them. It's not the end of the world.

This.

Frankly, I was very pleased with what the defense gave us. If you told me before the game we’d keep Gurley in check, force two turnovers, get a defensive score, and get some key stops, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Like, they gave us a chance to win. They gave the offense the ball with 1:49 left and 3 timeouts.
