Sounds like the Rams thought process on Peters last Spring.
How’s that move working out for them?

I see we are back to the choir boys take now, awesome.
Patrick Mahomes as great as he is is not going to win if we have an untalented team go ask Rodgers how that works. |

He talks too much, but I think he could easily back up the smack talk against the QB’s in our division.

Also, unlike Peters his game doesn’t rely heavily on turnovers. He’s on a completely different level of cover corner. |

The one big discrepancy that you can’t ignore between Ramsey and Peters is that Ramsey is actually a legit shutdown corner. In hindsight, it appears that Peters can’t be successful unless he’s freelancing, reading the QB the entire time, taking chances. Ramsey can do it all and he’s still not on the level of Peters as far as being an assclown.

The 2 cheap years of Ramsey would let us drop coin on Earl while also extending Jones and Hill.

I don’t think it’s realistic at all really but if KC added Ramsey and ET both this offseason you may as well just put them into SB 54 right now.

Signing ET is the kind of move that Seattle and Denver made years ago that put them over the hump to win Super Bowls (Ware, Talib, Michael Bennett, etc) so I really think Veach will look into it hard.
But trading for Ramsey would be just an insane boost for this team. Even if you’re worried about his attitude or whatever, how big of a problem is it when they’re winning? He’d finally be playing with a competent QB. I think it’s a great fit. |

If they'd have gone all in on Cousins this offseason they'd probably be leading their division. |
