I used the composite board, set to difficult.

This would be a pretty great draft. Tillery and Allen would be killer pieces for your DL. Mullen is as good a CB prospect as any in the draft. Gustin has had injury problems, but they're unrelated and IF his injury problems are behind him might be a steal. I think he's Winovich without the injuries. Hall is a speedster to complement Hill/Watkins or if Hill can't go might help soften the blow. Fulgham is a small school guy but a BIG target. Pollard is a Veach protype back, fast, powerful, and low mileage. This is your Kareem Hunt replacement. Tranquil is a high IQ, high motor player that would be a solid depth/replacement guy right away and possibly an eventual starter.

I pretty much do a daily simulation now, either on the draftnetwork or ontheclock. On all the various different boards and needs combinations, 95% of the time I feel like the board falls in a way I'd be pretty damn happy with.

CB, EDGE, S, TE... these feel like the areas that will most likely be addressed in R1. Could see any one of those positions with KCs first choice. Even IOL or WR has a shot of coming within the first two days.

No matter what board you use, you can see that some of these guys nobody expects to drop are going to drop. They just have to.

I really think I'd prefer they don't move up in the first. There's going to be a really good player that falls to #29 that's in a need position almost no matter what and if not then dropping back ten spots or so would be a good idea.

Realize that you guys don't care about Denver, but I've run a through mocks with this simulator, it's entertaining.

Of all the mocks I've run, I think I could live with this one through R5 the best.

R1, DL Ed Oliver (or similar at that position @ 10)
R2, G Dalton Risner (or similar at G)
R3, C Erik McCoy
R4, LB Tre Lamar (or similar at LB)
R5, TE Zach Gentry (huge target, not sure how he translates to the game, but I think the value in 5 is solid)
R5, WR Antoine Wesley (another huge target that lit it up at Tech)

If they hold their picks and don't trade back, I'd be fine with something that looks like this for the first 5 rounds. They have to address the OL and with Munchak there, they really need to give him some young toys to play with and I think those 2 fill key spots.

Oliver and Lamar would be solid additions while those big receiving targets, both in the 6'7 size range could be nice additions.

I think my 2nd favorite results with ...

R1, DL Gary
R2, TE Hockenson (won't happen)
R3, C McCoy
R4, WR Boykin
R5, G Samia
R5, WR Wesley

Flame away.

I wasn't in a position to grab a DE in this mock draft but I think adding Tillery allows Spags to move Jones out into the DE spot more and a rotation of Jones, Speaks, Okafor and Ogbah should be at least average next season. Bunting and Thornhill improve the secondary and McGovern can slot in at LG...replacing Erving. Moreau gives you a 2nd TE that can improve the running game and also work the short routes in this offense. Williams is the kind of RB that Veach is looking for and Hurd is a WR/RB that can run the screens and bubbles that Reid likes. I have a feeling that we're going to be running a lot of nickle....so I didn't go LB high....which was easy because there weren't any.

29. Jerry Tillery, IDL Notre Dame
61. Sean Bunting, CB Central Michigan
63. Juan Thornhill, S Virginia
92. Connor McGovern, IOL Penn State
167. Foster Moreau, TE LSU
201. Dexter Williams, RB Notre Dame
214. Jalen Hurd, WR Baylor
216. T.J. Edwards, LB Wisconsin

I really like those first 3 rounds, I'd maybe prioritize WR over TE/RB though if you're only going after them in the 5th and later.
