If the voting didn't end so early on Friday, I would say the MCU might've wrapped this game up this weekend, after Endgame.

That to me is the greatest franchise. Easily. Bond is all stand-alone. What Marvel has done, whether you like comics or not, is unprescedented.

Star Wars OT, LotR, or Godfather compete for best trilogy. They're all two great movies and one less great. Indy is one great film, one bad film, and one okay film, so it's a bit down the list.

James Bond and Star Wars.

James Bond is iconic. No matter who has portrayed him, they ooze class and charm. I enjoy the Marvel Universe movies, but they've gotten so full of needless one-liners and over-the-top action.

I grew up on Star Wars The scores from IV-VI are awsome. I didn't really care all that much for LOTR. They were good, but they just seemed so long and drawn out.

Bond should easily beat the two or three decent movies buried under a mountain of mindless fight-scene trash that makes up the MCU, but given CP’s lack of membership screening we end up with a bunch of uncultured manboys like Amnorix skewing the results toward schlock.

Star Wars is great, but it’s not in the same league as LOTR in terms of consistency.

LOTR had story and characters set up already.

It's an apples to oranges comparison.

I only voted Bond and decided to pass on the other match-up as I've not seen enough of either to cast a vote.

Star Wars vs LOTR was a tough one. All of the LOTR movies are very good (including the Hobbit trilogy), but Episodes 1-3 really weigh down the Star Wars franchise.
