I'm not sure why we think releasing Pringle has anything to do with Hill's status. It's just a straight swap with DAT coming of suspension.

They told you, Tremon Smith and DAT are better special teams players than Byron Pringle and for a 5th/6th WR stuff like that matters.
Also Byron Pringle isn't even young, he's the same age Sammy Watkins is. |

Idk, Watkins left school early to be a top 5 NFL Draft pick.
Byron Pringle stayed in school, was undrafted, got hurt in the preseason last year, so this is his 2nd year in the NFL, and Watkins' 4th.

It just shows how different a path can be.
Watkins was born in June of 93, did not redshirt and left school early, he was 20 years old when drafted, he's now 26 and this is his 6th year in the NFL. Pringle was born November 93 so I guess technically he's younger than Watkins but not by much. Firstly this means as children Watkins started school a year earlier, and Pringle left school as a Junior at age 24 and I know he started his college career at a community college. This means he probably sat years for not qualifying and transferring. Watkins had the fastest road possible to the NFL and Pringle took a path that is well, ridiculous. |

Dat's coming back, therefore we release Pringle, another WR. We need to make a decision on Hill going to IR by Saturday, I believe. Do you think they would cut a WR if they were going to put Hill on IR, maybe, and cut another position, but having only 4 wideouts would be taking a risk.

Because if they thought Hill would be out more than a month, they would IR him with the return designation and keep both DAT and Pringle?
