Mahomes injury updates

By video this was a high ankle sprain. Albeit mild and Mahomes is obviously tough. One needs to wait for to see how much swelling occurs overnight and the next few days.

Will know more in the next few days. Expect some missed practice time and this could slow down the 2018 MVP throughout the month of September.

So I'm all for following the docs advice and resting him till the percentage of re-injury is lower.

I think you bring him back this week if that is what they say.

Matt Moore has been all we could have hoped for with Pat and Henne both down. I think Moore has obviously earned the #2 spot when Pat comes back against the Tits next Sunday. Because there is no way Pat is sitting three weeks in a row after watching him stalk the sidelines like a caged animal yesterday.

Chiefs fans waited so long for the QB and I'll be damned if we didn't have the absolute ideal dude come along. You can tell how much he loves the game and is driven to be however good he wants to be. He just loves it, loves the franchise, city, teammates.

He's the damn total package.

He does love football and is extremely competitive. Seems to have Brady/MJ like competitiveness. Time will tell w that but seems to be the case so far.
