Please note that I don't disagree. But I will say Cam was a power runner. Jackson is based on being elusive.

Jackson may be able to sustain it longer because he doesn't take the hits. But He'll crash faster because it will take fewer hits to **** his soul.

Cam's the most intriguing QB in this year's FA market, IMO.

His contract was actually pretty cheap and he's got a ton of upside. Luck was able to come back after rehabbing a tough shoulder injury. Obviously, Cam's got more issues with his foot as well, but nearly a full calendar year off should do him well.

Most importantly, he just needs to learn how to ****ing slide. I don't give a shit how massive you are, you just can't keep barreling head-first into LBs week in and week out at the NFL level and expect to remain relatively healthy.

As has always been the case, Cam's biggest issue is between the ears.

True, but he's going to lose some of that speed/elusiveness over time as he ages.

Cam Newton has been overrated for a long time now. He peaked at the right time to get to the promised land but has been a disappointment since. His entire aura screams fragile at this point from his injury history to his fashion sense, I wouldn’t want my team taking on a project like Cam as he’s not much more than a distraction at this point.

Winston needs a good QB coach. Arians is overrated IMO. Winston with somebody like a Andy Reid would turn into a really good QB IMO.

IMO the play is the Ravens. Their backup is RG3. I'd dump RG3 and see if he'll back up Jackson, while being a good soldier.

Pretty wild they're getting nothing in return for him while getting a 5th for Allen.

Since the SB collapse, he's been rather pedestrian and missed nearly all of last season. Cam is only 32, so there will be 2-3 teams interested in a 1 year flier and would be shocked if NEP weren't entertaining it. Hell, I'd be shocked if the Raiders weren't serious.

There's no way that happens... for one, he isn't going to be content as a backup and from a team perspective, why add the headache?

Cam is DONE. At 32, with all that damage to his body, he may as well be 42. Theres no guarantee the guy could pass a physical, let alone endure an entire season.

Clipboard holder, or retires.
