Yep... and it's a great combo!

I cross-posted into the Bourbon thread a little while back, with the mix that I used -- http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=2522

And Elijah Craig is a dangerous mixer, since it's smooth as hell neat, much less in several ounces of tomato juice..... I really didn't know what to think of it when you mentioned it a while back, but really glad I tried it. It's far better than a typical Bloody Mary!

I remember you being very doubtful about how good it might be!

And to be honest, I felt the same way when I first tried one... "THATS what its made with?" but sure as hell it adds a whole new twist

Elijah Craig is too good to be mixed with anything other than maybe an ice cube or two... maybe. I have a bottle that was part of my groomsman’s gift from my brother’s wedding from like 5 years ago. It’s that good that it has lasted this long as I only sample it for very special occasions.

That being said, a bourbon Bloody Mary only makes sense, especially given how much Worcestershire sauce and horseradish I use to make mine. My Bloody Mary’s get close to a steak in a glass, and bourbon (not Elijah Craig) would be the perfect compliment to that.

Yeah, probably... it's easy enough to find and not crazy expensive, so I don't think much of it the few times I grab it for a mixer. And then I use 2-3 times as much EC as I would most other bourbons just so I know I'm having a drink, and tell myself to stop it.

Yet... it's so good.
