NFL is Rigged: Week 18 edition

The CP consensus is that the NFL is rigged. Welp, as such, I think it’d be great to discuss this week’s script.

The NFL is rigged, so this should be easy. As easy as predicting a WWE In-Ring interview being rudely interrupted by a rival with a steel chair.

Call your shot, what kind of week 18 shenanigans is the NFL up to?

Las Vegas vs L.A: Which new stadium does the NFL prefer? TWO teams in L.A make the playoffs?

Will the NFL write in a tie game sending BOTH to the playoffs?

Will they sneak the Steelers in for one last hoorah for Ruthlessraper?

Or will they write in Lamar Jackson because he generates ratings?

Will they give the most prestigious player (Mahomes) the #1 seed, or do they want to see the Chiefs in the WC round for extra ratings?

Another reason I’m going heavy on the Fade over the Sharters is..... the Madden factor. It’s a good storyline for the NFL, and will help take away some of the black eye left by Gruden/Ruggs, and will help end their season with a positive spin.

Because the vast majority of sports fans aren't die hard enough to even know their team is being ****ed over by bad calls, much less care enough to talk about conspiracy theories days later.

Plus, 50% of your customers always leave happy no matter what happens.

You’re a business owner. Your top selling item is Big Bill’s jerky. But people HATE the packaging because it’s hard to get open. Big Bill’s jerky continues to be your top selling item for years, but people still complain about the packaging.

Until people stop buying the jerky, what’s the your incentive to do anything about the problem if Big Bill’s Jerky continues to be your top selling item?

As much as the NFL needs a marketing superstar like Mahomes...Vegas hates it. Vegas is more powerful than it's incorporated sister in crime...it runs it.

How do you control spreads with a team that can put up 30 points in a half?...You'll repeatedly lose your ass. You require close games to "massage" the outcome to profitability.

This is why you see the Chiefs repeatedly disappear in games...especially in the 2nd half.

You have to "play ball" or they will screw you like they did in the SB...that wasn't an accident.

Vegas took a hit during the pandemic shut-down...all these unpredictable games that are covering. Could be trying to make it back...

As I said before...placing money on the potential SB winner is the biggest ruse in gambling. There is only one winner...if there is a disproportionate amount of $$ placed on KC during the year...you get the picture. Do they really care which team wins?

Doesn't that fit the Bills' narrative last year far more than the Chiefs?

What did the Chiefs do to get punished, in a season where they had close games almost every week?

Chiefs were supposed to lose their first match-up with the Chargers in 2020...do you remember that game? It was the Chargers first game in their new stadium.

Seemingly every kick-off had a penalty...they had to re-kick multiple FGs/extra points. The took off a potentially game ending, long pass at the end to CEH on a phantom holding...Mahomes had to make a hero play with his legs to get in position for OT...Buttker had to kick the longest FG in KC history TWICE to win it.

Do you remember who that official was? Do you remember how pissed off/curt Andy was during his Monday presser...which was bizarre after a win?

He got a "talking to"...I said it that week. They obviously cost some important people some money...

You correctly predicted the outcome of two out of a few hundred games this year. Congrats!

Nice attempt at marginalizing my predicting the two biggest upsets of the year...the same week.

I made no other predictions...just specifically those two.

Almost like "magick"...right?

Did anyone watch the Aaron Hernandez doc on Netflix?

Do you remember the scene whet Kraft takes the stand...the Judge asks him what he does for a living...he replies "I just do what they tell me".

I've never forgot that...
