Yeah, people said the same after last year’s Super Bowl.

I’m confident we’ll be back sometime. But let’s pump the brakes on this every year stuff.

I agree. Schedule next year is brutal. Lots of change coming with personnel. I won't be shocked if we have a down-ish year. It's fine. We'll be back again one day. Honestly, winning more than 1 SB puts you in rare air. Anymore then that is almost unheard of and puts you in legendary rare air. We have a decade plus for Pat to get another at least. I think WBF.

I'd be surprised if we don't get one more in the Mahomes era but I'm definitely aware that it's possible. Brees got one. Rodgers got one. Young got one. So on and so forth. There have been a lot of great QB's in history that have a singular SB. I think us as a fanbase in general may have gotten a little out in front of our skis with dynasty talk and trying to catch Brady talk. As long as we have PMII, we will be in contention. It's very possible he has a Big Ben like run where he never has a losing season. But winning SB's is much harder than I think a lot of people are/were willing to admit.

My biggest fear is he has a Brett Favre type of career with one ring and a lot of season ending playoff losses from trying to force stupid throws.

We aren’t going to have many chances that are better than this year.

Healthy roster, home AFCCG, against a team with a terrible OL and average injured defense. Can’t ask for more than that, yet we couldn’t cash in for whatever reason.

Injuries will kill a few seasons for us. Happens to every team.

We’ll miss on some draft picks. We’ll sign some bad contracts. Just like every other team.

Nothing is guaranteed and it really sucks to be up 18 at home and shit the bed like this.

I’m sure Mahomes will get 1 or 2 more. Maybe more than that. Just really sucks to not get there given such a golden opportunity.

Oh, I don't know. But anything can happen. We rebuilt the whole offensive line this year and made it almost all the way back. And if it wasn't for some stupid play calling at the end of regulation, I think we win this game also. Never can take anything for granted, but the future is very bright.

Agreed...

Drafting at the bottom of each round for the past decade and missing or tradking them, eventually takes it toll when playing against teams which have been drafting near the top.

The offense really struggled against a three man rush and zone defense which eliminated yards after catch and was unable to open any running lanes.

The play calling was predictable again; run on first down, pass on 6+ yards on second down.

I say it in every thread; Patrick looked hurt and out of it. Maybe he got his head bounced off the turf or hit after the interception. That wasn't the Mahomes I've seen most of the year. Except against the Titans...
