So much blame everywhere in this case. None if this happens if that "poor homeless guy" isn't serially ripping off a lifelong taxpayer and "previous" contributor to society - for the few bucks he got for gutting copper from a building he shouldn't have been in in the first place, he caused thousands of dollars in damage and pushed an old man from a different time over the edge. The "poor homeless guy" sets everything in motion. The attorney, while I feel for his wife and kids, was probably the worst of all the actors - greedy scum; twisting the truth of an already bad situation to unsophisticated hand picked jury and turning it tragic by ruining and stealing a person's lifetime of work. While we will never know how much of Jungerman's wealth Pickert was going to personally pocket, we know that it is routine in these types of cases for the fees to start at 60% - given Pickert's client, my guess is that Pickert was taking nearly all of it. As far as Jungerman? No defending his actions, but in his mind, what was he loosing? He had already been ruined. People have been murdered for a helluva lot less.

I wondered if that had any impact on the lawyers wife getting money from this guy now that he is deceased
