At the end of the day, whos better than who overall doesn't mean shit. All that matters is who is doing better that day. Just ride the hot hand.

But it seems like Reid and EB are trying to force CEH into being the hot hand so even in games he's not doing well in, they keep putting him out in high leverage situations.

That’s the part that drives me nuts. I get sticking with ceh in games like Arizona and Tampa. I get if all RBs are getting stuck. I couldn’t for the life of me understand how you close the first half with McKinnon being clearly the hot hand and yet we made zero adjustments out of halftime and stuck with ceh to predictable results.

So...did you watch either Cincy game last season?

What about the Colts playoff loss at the end of the 2013 season?

How about the Super Bowl loss?

Our coaching staff is weird, and don't really do many in-game adjustments unless it's to go away from the running game when it's been working and they've built up a lead.

Y'all need to give Clyde a break. He's a league leader. Oh, I should tell what stat? Running into offensive line men's rears.

Because, while Cracker Barrel isn't downright terrible...it's not really what you're craving, nor what your body needs to perform at its highest potential...but you can eat it, and it will produce a turd in the end.

So, CEH = Cracker Barrel in this scenario.

CEH = MEH

No better word has ever existed to describe Clyde. He's not great; not ghastly. He's unimpressive and mildly disappointing.

He is meh.
Lol! I'm very familiar with the word. Went right over my head as I was thinking it was a typo at first, but he kept using it. And I was reading it as individual letters M-E-H, like C-E-H, and never read it a a word!

Very appropriate renaming of CEH!

I don’t think Andy trusts Pacheco to not fumble. That would be the only explanation. Maybe pass blocking or something I guess

I think it's pass pro, to be honest. CEH and McKinnon have both been solid there.

Man, there have been a couple of plays where Pacheco has had to pass block and he's done a damn good job.

I know that situational moments for the few snaps he sees the field is different than being the main RB and showing you can do it every down you're asked to, but he hasn't demonstrated or shown any dumbass rookie moments in that area yet.

He hasn't really developed patience in allowing his blocks to develop and his vision on where to go hasn't been great. Not unheard of for a rookie HB. That should improve with time.

One of the reasons he looked so good vs. TB is there was no question where to go or what gap to hit. Holes were blown wide open and IIRC they weren't zone blocking most of the time.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Maybe its just Andy and important division games. Don't let a rook mistake you out of a division win. Or maybe he got banged up the week before.
