Oh you and I and most people here would agree. But the truth is, if Burrow beats us twice in the AFC Championship game (I don’t really GAF about regular season meetings) and then wins a Super Bowl, a lot of people are going to start saying he’s the best QB in football. They would be wrong, but it will be said.

That's the narrative for sure. Burrow has been blessed with a pretty dang good defense, which has allowed only 18 points per game in the Playoffs the last 2 seasons. That level of output is similar to the #1 or #2 defense in the regular season for both 2021 and 2022 seasons.

I wonder what Burrow's playoff record might be if his defense gave up 25 points per game in the playoffs, which is what has been happening with both the Chiefs & Bills for years. Burrow's offense averages 23 points per game in the playoffs.

Using some rough math and recollection, I think he’d be a very average 3-3 in that scenario

Yeah, 3-3 seems about right. It would be epic if KC can drop a monster number on the Cincy defense this Sunday. They gotta be sharper though against a very good defense.

That would rule. Just come out a lay a 45-10 beatdown. Unfortunately, that is just not our MO against good teams (not that it's easy for any team to do that to another good team). I'm sure this will be another nail biter. When I'm on my death bed, I'm sure I'll think "damn, I would've had another ten years if not for watching Chiefs playoff games"

This is actually pretty interesting. Bills margin is a FG, Bengals is only 5, and KC has it by a full TD+PAT, all while giving up the most points. Chiefs are by far the most impressive and sustainable.

Really the biggest part of the comparison is that, like Mahomes, Burrow is never out of it. He’s proven he can guide his team to a comeback and it’s all the more comparison worthy that he did it against Patrick’s team. For whatever reason he was able to get his guys to lock in and finish the job. I don’t think it’s Zac. Four our collapse you might place some with Andy, but I gotta give him his props and we take the good with the bad. I don’t think anyone would question that in our SB run Patrick willed both sides of the ball to “do something special” in all the games, so it’s fair to call Burrow his near equal as a leader - IF he ever can seal the deal and win the big one while going through us.

Arm talent it ain’t close lol.
