The scramble was important on the penalty that came back. If he comes up way short of the first down, the Jets would have declined the penalty and the Chiefs would have punted.

That drive started with like 7-8 minutes left in the game. By the time the clock got to around 4 minutes, it seemed obvious that Reid was small balling the game out, hoping to bleed the clock. I thought it would have made more sense to try to score a TD from the start.

Worked out well in the end because we executed, but if we hadn’t, we’d have given the ball back to them with plenty of time and only need 3 to tie.
