This is his response when asked about a ND player running on to the field.

I'm shocked he doesn't speak in the 3rd person.

Maybe he's building up to it.

He has to talk to Patrick Mahomes II about that. He owns every team.

No athlete will ever gain enough money playing sports to get a majority owner status.

Mahomes/Jeter/Shaq---nope. JayZ? Nope.

You have to be in business and be successful to do it.

Maybe this NIL shit went to his head and he is very entitled.

**** him. No one is going to do that.

Let’s all remember and appreciate that Patrick mahomes was instructed by his agent to do minimal endorsements early in his career that might distract him. When he negotiated his contract he gave the chiefs room to build around him. It was only years later before he capitalized on endorsements and only recently where he’s building up his assets and getting a contract that pays his worth.

There’s so much more to mahomes than just his individual raw talent. I will always despise any comparison that doesn’t consider his character and leadership

It would seem that he should be following the Mahomes model. Worked out pretty pretty good for him.

Yeah, the character element is where Caleb falls way short of Mahomes. You can have all the talent in the world, but humility is an important aspect of all sports…especially a team sport.

This has come up before. Forget the player. Maybe Mahomes speculation circa 2019?

I think I remember that its against the NFL rules to give a player a piece of ownership. And anything the team gives you, say a piece of one of their other businesses, it counts against the cap.

Vermeil wanted to give a kicker a bottle of win for winning a game, it would have counted against the cap.

It was Tom Brady's ownership of the Raiders. There was speculation that he might play again, but he would have to give up his share of the Raiders. Players can't be owners.

If I had the first pick I'd take Drake Maye without hesitation. Caleb Williams would be off my board. He's a narcissist that can't get enough of himself to think he deserves anything without proving himself.

Bradford, Mayfield, Kyler. He's the next OU QB to go 1st overall and bust

Look, I totally get (and agree) how off putting his arrogance is, and I don't have a huge problem with it being the difference between him and Maye for somebody, but off your board entirely?

Now you're just being silly.

He's already proving himself to be a dumbass. Only the Broncos would agree to something like that.
