Look at Cincinnati. They haven't won 3 out of 4 against KC because they won shootouts. Their defense held an explosive KC in check while doing just enough on offense to win. KC might have to ride that model this year. That's exactly the type of win we got yesterday over Miami.

I hope the offense turns the corner and believe they will with Andy/Pat, but I am prepared for it to not happen and KC will have to win ugly.
A team with the best QB (ever, IMO) the best play caller, and the best TE should not be 15th EVER.

That means something went wrong.

I do think we will be better but we need to play like a top 5 offense in the playoffs to win it all. That's just how the league works now.

Well sure, but you can't act all surprised when people get a lil anxious going from year after year of top 3... to merely average on offense

What they're missing is, RELAX this defense is capable of picking up the slack until we find something that works

But I don't hate some of the offense gloomers, they make some good points too... yeah it DOES suck when we finally have to deal with our beautiful and finely tuned machine start sputtering

I feel the same way I felt against Miami. We need to play our best game but if we do we match up well against them. I think it’s actually a stellar matchup which is why the Super Bowl was so exciting. i still think the true measuring stick is cincy.

The only thing that gives me pause is Denver. That feels like a similar situation where we’ve gotta win that one through the passing game and we just didn’t. But I think our performance vs LAC and Miami can win for us vs Philly

I think Philly on offense in a lot of ways is like ours. They haven’t found their identity yet. It really has been lukewarm. They just find ways to win games by doing just enough on both ends. I don’t think it’s nearly the defensive test we’re making it to be. We can hold them to something manageable for our offense to win. I don’t think we shut them out. Like our offense they can still claw their way to just enough production.

It’s really up to our passing offense to do just enough to win this. It doesn’t have to be 30 points. But we’ve gotta be effective enough for a full 4 quarters

KC isn't shutting out Philly, but they do have a good offense. Thankfully I think KC will be better prepared for them defensively. I don't see Hurts having an all world performance vs this team like they did in the SB. Plus with two weeks for Reid/Mahomes to prepare I think they will be more crisp on offense.

I think 24 gets it done, as long as the offense doesn't turn the ball over a bunch.

The way I see it we have an offense that’s been inconsistent. But the eagles have a hole in their pass defense (although outstanding vs the run).

Eagles have inconsistency with their offense and they’re excellent running the ball, but our defense is solid vs the pass or run. The defense will get the job done. The window is right there for our offense to do just enough and I think mistake free football regardless of our inconsistencies is enough to get the job done

I'm hoping some one lets Andy know that Isiah Pacheco is perfectly capable of converting a 3rd and short, so he doesn't need to run dumb shit plays that he thinks are clever and confuse the D. Let him know that we supposedly have the best IOL in the NFL and they should be able to get a yard behind them.

What's so crazy about this? Pacheco has gotten 7 rushes when it was 3rd/4th down and 2 or less yards. He has converted 5 of those. That's 71% conversion rate.

Take Pacheco out of the occasion and they are 13 for 23. That's 57%.

Hell McKinnon is 3 for 4.

He did that earlier in the year -- anybody remember? He did it for like two games, ran Pacheco consistently on 3rd and short, and they converted almost every time.

October 8th was the last time he's gotten an attempt at it. Completely idiotic.

KC is the most penalized team in the league and has the most turnovers. These are the problems that this team faces. And considering they've never been longterm concerns on a Reid/Mahomes team, I'm not too worried.

Imagine how badly they're going to start beating teams when they clean that up and stop dropping so many passes.

There’s not much that can be done on the penalty side, that’s been a constant for decades and it has nothing to do with what is happening on the field. Fortunately we have a QB/Coach combination that can overcome it 80% of the time.

Cleaning up turnovers will certainly help, however penalties will probably increase some to compensate.

Imagine how badly they’d destroy teams with proper officiating, 5 straight super bowls with 4 wins is the baseline 50/50 on if the rams SB game would be a win or a loss.
