I think it's too easy to pin the blame entirely on the WRs. Penalties have just killed us, and on both sides of the ball. They kill drives on offense, and prevent the D from getting off the field. It's been brutal.

Lots of problems on the offense; the WR group and the tackles. Doesn't help that the league appears to have the team under a microscope looking for any and all infractions by the Chiefs and overlooking even the most obvious of the opponents.

Play calling appears suspect as well; completely gave up on the run with plenty of time left leading to multiple 3 and outs. I understand that you let the 1/2 Billion Dollar Man try to win the game yet the offense still needs balance.

They’re not good enough- 17 points isn’t enough. Buffalo’s defense isn’t great. Still too many penalties, turnovers, and dropped passes. They are who they are at this point. If we’re going to win it’s gonna be squeaking out close games when our D plays well.

I don’t think it’s just EB & Nagy. The new receivers coach looks like he barely graduated high school. That’s a mistake by Andy, given the lack of talent in the receiver group. He treated this like an autopilot situation. They needed an experienced coach in that job.

I mentioned in another thread, but, at some point tables will turn. We've seen a lot of that this season. 15 straight wins over the Donks, thats now over, Andy Reid rarely loses after a bye week...that's over, Mahomes doesn't lose in December, that's over, Mahomes doesn't lose back to back games, that's over...

We're just coming back down to earth. Hell, if we keep ****ing around the Donkey's could win this division...I don't think they will, but shit people...all kinds of weird shit has happened this year.

We have zero WR's that threaten down the field and zero WR's that Mahomes can trust to get open past the sticks. Rice is getting eased into such a role but it's not all there yet.

That's a recipe for exactly what you see. The only thing keeping us from being Bottom 5 is Mahomes and Reid.

The offense has no rhythm whatsoever. Buffalo was another slow start game where in years past those first 15 scripted plays were a thing of beauty. No smooth execution. They really miss Bienemy and his hard ass attention to detail.

They don’t suck ass. They’re still a still a good offense but are the worst offense we’ve seen since Mahomes became the qb. We don’t have much big play capability so for us to score it means long drives, converting third downs etc. 5 yard penalties used to be nothing for this offense to overcome, now they seem like drive killers. There is no margin for error. It sucks because this is the best defense we’ve had with Mahomes.
