His voice doesn’t match him at all. His brother speaks the same way so I’d imagine someone in their household also speaks that way, one of the parents most likely.
I wonder if Ji'Ayir Brown thought Kelce was soft when Kelce hammered him going out of bounds. He laid on the ground writhing and grabbing his shoulder for quite a while.

There are few dudes I'd less like to get run over by than Travis Kelce.

He's so much bigger than we realize and evidently was moving at about 20 mph when they made contact. That is a SHITLOAD of force.

Oh, another takeaway - the 49ers were SO much tighter than KC in that 2nd half. It was insane.

The whole time, even when the 49ers had the lead, they looked streeeeessed. They always looked like they were losing.

The Chiefs looked confident and poised the whole time. The 49ers looked terrified.

Mahomes does weird shit to people, man.

Agreed. The whole time they just sounded like they were trying to talk themselves into believing they could win.

You just know that Bosa and Warner were getting flashbacks.

I think the Greenlaw injury really broke Warner. He just seemed in a fog.

So did Bosa, but as I noted earlier - that's just how that dude sounds. He could've said "I made poopie" and I wouldn't have batted an eye. He's just a slow kid.

Hearing people talk about the Greenlaw injury is beginning to piss me off. Yeah, it was a bad thing and hurt the 49ers, but it's hardly different than other players being out of the game altogether with injuries like Omenihu. Everyone has to deal with injuries and they're difficult to overcome, but that is part of football. If we have to listen to whining about how they lost Greenlaw, they should at least address the players the Chiefs had to do without.

It's just the nature of things. We lamented the injuries to Fisher and Schwartz when we lost to Tampa Bay. We'll never know if they would have won with Greenlaw, and we'll never know if we could have beaten Brady with our tackles. I can't blame them for feeling like it sucks, even if injuries are just a part of the game.

I think the thing that makes it very different than us not having a player who was injured in a game two weeks ago is it happening in the Super Bowl as he was simply running out onto the field. Emotions run high in that game and momentum is a huge thing. That kind of a loss could take a mental toll on a team or at least a few players who were close to him. It's not just about the loss of the player, but about that player losing the opportunity to play in one of the biggest games of his career. And not having two weeks to get used to that fact as we did with Omenihu or our tackles before LV.

Still not an excuse for losing and you could see Warner at least in better spirits as the game went on. Well, not at the very end, I guess.

Greenlaw was way too happy celebrating good plays early. Seemed like he had Pacheco levels of adrenaline and could not handle it.

I wonder if he would have popped his Achilles if he calmed down the jumping up and down like a crazy man.

Niners looked exhausted and pessimistic on all the clips after Chiefs first lead.

Doubtful.

Subscribe to ESPN+

It's worth the 10 bucks, I promise.

Eventually I'll post all the postseason Turning Points for the Chiefs, though. But that'll be at least a week away.
