Ah, yes. Slayer. Happy crew they were. I saw them live in Omaha. It was one of those multiple band tours, there was Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and Testament. Damn. Churches were exploding all over town...

Celtic Frost had a couple of HR Gieger covers... as did The Dead Kennedys (although the PMRC made them change the cover of "Frankenfurter" because they deemed the Gieger painting "obscene")

Alice Cooper must be mentioned here as well. The first album, Pretties for You, had a pair of paper panties in it. Schools out opened up like a desk at school and I think it came with crayon or something, and From the Inside came with a certificate of Mental health. Gotta love the Coop...

I actually got the "From the Inside" album from my uncle when I was ... I dunno, about 10 or so.

It's never been played, but messing around with it was pretty cool.

My favorite isn't really a cover, per se, but the jacket for "Minute by Minute" by the Doobie Brothers. I can't find a pic, so I'll take one when I get home tonight and post it.

One of my favorite Cooper projects.

I'm assuming you're a collector,if not,why did you never play it?

K my friendly anti christ.

Although its the favorite album cover art someone us like to have multiple favorites.

I have always thought favorite as a superlative.

By the way the best slayer cover is the Raining blood one. Best album too.

Rock on fellow metal head.
