If you are applying in Kansas (in olathe), it was a peice of cake, they dont make you park, you need to go slow though (2 under speed limit - especially school zone)... two hands on the wheel, seatbelt, signal correctly ahead of time, complete stop at stop signs and red lights...

The test is pretty easy ( they let you use the booklet) and if you get any wrong they tell you waht you got wrong and let you retake it then and there...

Hopefully they are nice where you are going...

Dont worry, if you dont pass today there is always tomorrow and the next day, you will be driving for the rest of your life... Good Luck

If you asked if it was dificult... I never did it, I still cant do it that well after 7 years... They just made me park in a normal spot... 151st and Ridgeview parking lot... dont worry... youll get it done,

I failed my first one. Evaluator told me to parallel park, backing in first, and to end up 6" from the curb. Then turn off the vehicle and remove the keys from the ignition. When I was done I pulled the keys from the ignition, the dude opens his door and says "I said 6" not 6 feet!!!" You'll probably fail!

I failed my first one too. I couldn't get the car started. The crank kept slipping.

I'll never forget during Driver's Ed class- I was riding in the back while the instructor was sitting in front with this other classmate driving. We were on Metcalf and traffic was good and plenty. He comes to an intersection and as soon as he reaches the intersection, the light turns yellow. So, the kid stops the car partly out in the intersection. The instructor says to him without looking, "You're already in the intersection, it's okay to go."

So, the kid proceeds to drive, which is now too late. We're in the middle of the intersection and all these cars are trying to move when the instructor yells, "NO! Go back!" So, the poor kid reverses it only to see a car had pulled up to the crosswalk and he really had nowhere to go, but sit in the middle of the intersection. The whole time I'm cracking up in the backseat....

Thats funny... congrat roy... dont drink and drive...

I remember one time on old Antioch road, the gravel part of it we almost killed ourselves on a turn.. going 60 in a stupid truck... fun times...
